Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4 1954. O'Hara has won a number of prizes, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara was a renowned actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an Improvisational comedy troupe based out of Toronto. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working alongside Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing talents, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
